Is it possible to restore the pictograms on a worn control panel?

Yes – even panels where the printing has worn down to bare plastic can usually be restored, since laser engraving cuts the symbol back into the surface rather than just printing on top of it. The process: the panel is dismantled, the old worn coating is removed, a new durable coating is applied, and each pictogram and inscription is re-engraved to match the original symbol’s proportions and depth. This matters especially for panels with several small icons close together (climate control, seat adjustment, multimedia clusters), where consistency across the whole panel is as important as any single symbol being sharp. The finished panel looks new, all markings are legible again, and full functionality is retained throughout – only the outer surface is touched.
