Is it possible to refurbish the entire control console in a VW T5, including all buttons?

Yes – and for a full console like the VW T5’s, doing it as one job is usually the better approach rather than restoring individual buttons separately. We renovate all the plastic elements of the console together – the surrounding trim as well as the buttons – so the finish, texture, and colour match consistently across the whole panel rather than having a few refurbished buttons standing out against original, aged plastic around them. Buttons that are worn or discoloured go through the same process used elsewhere: cleaning, repainting, and laser-engraving to restore legible symbols. Depending on the actual condition of your console (sun-faded plastic wears differently than a button that’s just lost its printing), we adjust the specific repair and protection technique, but the goal is always the same: a console that looks and functions like it did when the van was new.
