As part of the project, we carried out a comprehensive restoration of the damaged plastic components. The process involved:

• removal of the damaged components from the vehicle’s interior,
• complete chemical removal of the degraded, sticky paint coating,
• thorough cleaning and degreasing of the plastic surfaces,
• preparing the substrate for the new coating,
• professional painting using high-quality paints resistant to hydrolysis and ageing,
• applying a protective layer to prevent the sticky effect from recurring,
• reassembly of components whilst maintaining factory tolerances.

Final result: the plastic parts have regained their original, matt texture without any stickiness, and the new coating is resistant to chemical degradation and will last for many years without the need for further repairs.
