Renovation of pictograms – steering wheel buttons in a Porsche
Problem
Worn-out icons on the multimedia control buttons on a Porsche steering wheel. A particular challenge was the restoration of the plus/minus buttons, including the silver ‘Tiptronic’ lettering.

Solutions applied
As part of the project, we carried out a precise restoration of the multifunction button panels. The process involved:
- removal of the control modules from the steering wheel,
- chemical removal of worn paint coatings whilst preserving the structure of the components,
- professional painting with paints resistant to heavy use,
- laser engraving of multimedia control pictograms (black buttons),
- precise reproduction of the +/- button markings and the “Tiptronic” inscription whilst retaining the original silver colour scheme,
- final application of a protective coating,
- reassembly in accordance with factory tolerances.
Final result: the buttons look just like the originals from the showroom, the two-tone buttons (black and silver) have been reproduced with laser precision, guaranteeing durability and resistance to many years of use in sporty driving conditions.
